HSG Bulletin: Impact Health Sharing Announces New and Upcoming Programs

Impact Health Sharing has recently introduced several new programs designed to benefit their members in multiple ways. These new programs include a (Beta) Health & Wholeness Credit Program, Dental and Vision Savings Plans, and the addition of an Impact Prayer Counselor.

According to Impact’s president and CEO, Phil Chrysler, “These member enhancements came from member feedback and are being offered at no additional cost to Impact members.”

Below is a brief breakdown of each new program:

(Beta) Health and Wholeness Credit Program

This program is set up to help offset the costs of health and wellness services as well as alternative medicine.

The test phase began on July 1, 2024, and will end around December 31, 2024. That said, the program is currently being implemented and will officially launch on December 31, 2024. This incentive was created to support members in maintaining a healthy lifestyle as Impact Health Sharing partners with them through their preventive healthcare journey.

Members may apply for the Health and Wholeness Credit Program by completing the electronic Health and Wholeness Credit (HAWC) form. Credits will only be considered for submissions made through the HAWC form.

How the Health and Wholeness Credit Program Works:

  • Impact members can receive a monthly credit of up to $100 per household, applied to their Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) balance.
  • Submit the electronic HAWC form with proof of payment, in which the receipts or invoices must indicate the services rendered and/or products purchased to be considered for credit.
  • The completed form must be submitted within 60 days of the service date or product purchase and credits are only applied for the month in which those services and/or purchases occurred.
  • Once the PRA is met, credits are no longer available, submissions for future dates are not accepted, and there are no refunds for unused credit.
  • Only services rendered and products purchased after July 1, 2024, are eligible for credit.
  • Services and products related to pre-existing conditions are not eligible for credit.
  • The Health and Wholeness Credit Program is not available for members enrolled in Impact’s Senior program.

See & Smile Program (Dental and Vision Savings Plan)

Impact Health Sharing will soon join a small group of other HealthShares by offering a dental and vision savings plan that will officially launch on October 1, 2024. This free, auto enrollment program provides added value to Impact memberships for those who choose to use it.

Some of the perks with these discounts:

  • Unlimited use

Impact Health Sharing’s Prayer Counselor

Impact Health Sharing has a dedicated prayer page where their members can submit a Prayer Request form for extra prayers and support in times of need. However, Impact has added another level of support for their members with their new Prayer Counselor. The Prayer Counselor is part of the member services team and is available to offer members encouragement and support through counseling, conversation, and/or prayer.

How Prayer Requests and the Prayer Counselor Work:

  • Submit a prayer request at impacthealthsharing.com/pray
  • Members can request public prayers or login for private prayers and to request the Prayer Counselor
      1. Public Prayers: simply submit the prayer request form without logging in
      2. Private Prayers: login to the Member Center and click to request a private prayer or request the Prayer Counselor, where someone at Impact will then be in contact
